Winter photos

The last couple of months, the weather in Finland have been just a dull gray and the sky look like a hazy vomit and I have been waiting, and waiting and waiting for nice light blue winter sky. Finally we have a sun and light but still we are missing clouds to take perfect photos….but I like the long shadows in snow forest and took some nice pictures.

Energy and momentum

I’m interested in energy and momentum and they are often present in paintings.

I just started a new painting of classic subject or that’s the way I feel it because it is painting of dancer. For me, movement and the energy is the most important thing and I am going to mix shadows and movement together and blur the face, hands and toes to spiritual energy that flow out of the dancer and becomes part of the movement.

I am going to post first draft soon.
